· The Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport – Phase II Expansion –Project Manager and Technical Advisor for the $95 million passenger terminal building (PTB) expansion opening in the summer of 2008. The Phase II expansion includes:
o A total of thirteen new aircraft positions on eleven new PTB gates.
o Four grounded, or walk-on, gates for domestic traffic.
o Airside site servicing and building utilities including land drainage, electrical distribution, lighting, communications/IT and fire protection.
o Stormwater drainage with features to mitigate effects of apron contaminants and aviation fuels.
o Nine new bridged gats with the capability to dock smaller aircraft.
o Continuation of a dual taxi lane to connect the PTB apron to the existing taxiway system to service the domestic commuter area.
o Resolution of impacted groundside facilities including parking, frontage road, landscaping and wayfinding and regulatory signage.
o Staged demolition of the predecessor PTB to provide greater revenue generation and flexibility during construction.
CUPE National Headquarters Building – Bryden/Martel Architects, Ottawa– Project Manager for a new 5 story Office Building and an additional 1 story conference center. Designed the underground sewers, watermain, servicing, stormwater management, parking and concrete works. Worked on the approvals requirement for the City of Ottawa.
DCR Phoenix – Bradley Subdivision, Gloucester – Project Manager for a 109 lot subdivision with 9 townhome blocks. Designed the underground sewers, watermain, servicing, stormwater management, parking and concrete works. Attended meetings with the municipality and other agencies. Worked on the approvals requirement for the City of Ottawa and the Rideau Valley Conservation Authority.
Campanale Homes – Berrigan Townhomes, Nepean – Project Manager for a 70-unit town home site. Designed the underground sewers, watermain, servicing, stormwater management, parking and concrete works. Worked on the approvals requirement for the City of Ottawa.
